BOARDING POLICIES AND INFORMATION
Boarding is offered at both the Tecumseh and Adams locations.
We currently board dogs and cats.
Availability varies, so call ahead to check on availability.
Prices are based on the size of the animal and the amount a time the animal stays. There are discounts for extended stays. All dogs staying 5 days or longer will be given a bath at the owners expense the day before they are scheduled to go home.
We do offer boarding to animals that have special health needs. However their is a per day fee for medicating or treating animals.
All animal are required to be up to date on their vaccines. Dogs must have a distemper combo, bordetella and rabies. Cats must have a distemper combo and rabies. If you are wishing to board your animal and their vaccines are not current we can give them at either location when they arrive for their stay at the owner's expense. Animals are also required to be current on Frontline (a flea and tick preventative), if they are not frontline will be applied at the owner's expense.
Animals boarding with us will have their own personal kennel or run (based on the size of the animal). They will be attended to at least twice a day unless more attention is needed. Dogs will be given an approximate 10-15 minute walk outside twice daily. Cats will have a fresh litter box twice daily. All animals are given fresh food and water, and a fresh blanket to lay on twice daily. Their kennel or run will be cleaned twice daily also.
Boarding is charged on a per day basis, the day the animal comes in is consider a days boarding. However if you pick your animal up before 10:30 am (on any day except sundays and holidays) on the day they are scheduled to go home there is no charge for that day.
